F4X Workout: What You Need to Know

Posted on

One of the most common misconceptions of people over the age of 30 is that one could no longer shape his/her body the way he/she wants it to be. This is definitely a myth. A person could lose weight and shape his/her body the way he/she wants to at any age. The key to achieving it is choosing the right training/fitness program. Good thing, there are now fitness programs designed for people in this age group. One of them is the Old School New Body program.

Old School New Body Review

The Old School New Body program is a fitness program designed for people over the age of 35. It has been created by Steve and Becky Holman. This couple is no longer new in the fitness industry as Steve used to be the editor-in-chief of one of the oldest fitness magazines in the world, the Iron Man magazine. Becky, on the other hand, used to be a contributor for a health column in the same magazine.

Unlike other fitness programs out there, the Old School New Body approaches weight loss and body building in a more realistic way. It doesn’t promise you that you’ll be losing weight and shape your body the way you want it to be in just a couple of days. It emphasizes the value of hard work which is an old school element.

Another thing that sets the Old School New Body program from other fitness programs out there is that it has a trademark protocol that makes it possible for one to lose weight and build muscles without necessarily have to spend hours in the gym or starve one’s self. This trademark protocol is better known as the F4X workout.

F4X Workout: What it is?

The F4X workout is comprise of three (3) steps to help get that shape that you’ve longed for. These steps are as follows:

  1. 1.       Phase 1 (F4X Lean)

The first phase of the F4X workout is the F4X Lean. This phase focuses on weight loss. Regardless of the number of pounds that you wanted to shed, this first phase can help you lose weight. This is a combination of Paleo meal plans and body workout.

  1. 2.       Phase 2 (F4X Shape)

Once you have achieved your desired weight, you can proceed to the second phase. This phase is a combination of weight lifting exercises and alteration in your meal plans. Research has it that building muscles contribute to weight loss. In fact, by gaining sufficient amount of muscles, you could burn fats even if you are sleeping.

  1. 3.       Phase 3 (F4X Build)

The last phase of the F4X workout is optional. You can skip this phase if you’re already contented with how you look. However, if you wanted to build more muscles, then you can opt to go on with this training.  Just like the second phase, this third phase approaches muscle building through varieties of weight lifting exercises and healthy meal plans.
